Smokin` View, great view, great location

We enjoyed a long weekend and the cabin was great. The view was outstanding and we will definitely be back.

Check in was at 4. We arrived at 4:30 cabin had not been cleaned, from the previous guest. Then couldn't check in until 6:30. We had two dogs, so we couldn't eat, or do much while we waited. Cabin still wasn't very clean. They did however, take off our cleaning fee. Which was nice. But really the only thing we enjoyed about the cabin was the view . Everything else, just seemed dirty and out dated .The pictures listed are after they cleaned. Lol

I do not consider myself a clean freak, but this place was really dirty. It needed a deep clean. Also, the outlets in both bathrooms were not working. The bedroom closet door was broken and off its track.

Just an honest review...Cabin does have a great view. The cabin could also use a better maintenance and repair service. Multiple spiders/webs and beetles that I had clear out. Not sure who makes repairs to the cabin but I would be less than satisfied with the repair man and property manager if I were the owner. The cabin was clean as far as linens, towels, carpets and floors but at minimum the furniture(couch, chairs,mattresses) needs to be updated. They are very uncomfortable. My first comment to my wife after the first entire walk through of the cabin was "If I were the property owner, my first action would be to remove it from rental opportunity and update the entire cabin inside and outside." Did have to contact the host about an issue with central A/C unit. He did answer on the first call and was very pleasant. Not sure if anyone ever came out to look at it besause we were out and about all day and never received a follow up call from the host. The unit only had one issue after the first initial call. Use this information at will. Again, just being honest.

Loved that the property was pet friendly. The space was adequate for our party of 5 (2 adults and 3 kiddos) with plenty of sleeping space and entertainment space. Only downfall was that there was no coffee provided (kpods or grounds) nor was there any mention in the listing to such. Closest coffee place was a 10-15 min drive in away.
